Manchester United's Diogo Dalot asked about future plans after AC Milan loan

Manchester United's Diogo Dalot has admitted he doesn't know where his future lies after his AC Milan loan.

The versatile full-back signed for United for £19m three years ago, but his career at Old Trafford has since stuttered, with Dalot making just 11 appearances across all competitions for Ole Gunnar Solskjae 's side in the 2019-20 campaign.

Consequently, Dalot was sent on loan to Italian side AC Milan in an attempt to reignite his career, and he's delivered some respectable performances for the Rossoneri, playing a role in the club securing Champions League football.

Although reports have linked Dalot with a permanent move away this summer, it looks as though he could return to United before a decision is made on his future.

Do you think Diogo Dalot should play for United next season? Have your say in the comments here.

“I like to become more and more complete. The Italians love football, they always talk about it and being part of this culture has been a fantastic experience. And on the pitch, I feel I have improved a lot tactically," Dalot told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“There are some defensive aspects I learned here and it was fantastic to develop these qualities too. That’s not the only thing either, as I improved in pressing high and recovering the ball as soon as possible. Very useful stuff.

“I say that I had a fantastic year and met beautiful people. It was a real pleasure to play for Milan but now I think about the Euros and I really don’t know [on his future] what will happen.”
