Manchester United's Dean Henderson shows the one area where he's already better than David De Gea

Dean Henderson has proved himself to be better than fellow Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea in one key area while on international duty for England U21s.

The Young Lions got their EURO campaign in Italy and San Marino underway against tough opposition in France but were the better team early on.

Yet it seemed as if it would all unravel after Chelsea's Jake Clarke-Slater was harshly penalised for a handball and gave away a penalty.

Rumoured United transfer target Moussa Dembele stepped up to take it but Henderson sprung to his left to brilliantly beat the ball away and keep the scores level.

It was the fifth penalty save of his young career, and after France went on to miss another penalty later on in the game, Henderson has an impressive penalty save success rate of 46.2%.

De Gea, on the other hand, has no where near as good a record. The Spaniard has saved just 11 in his entire career, having faced 51 in total. Giving him a success rate of just 21.6%.

In fact, De Gea's last penalty save came in 2016 against now-teammate Romelu Lukaku.

The fact wasn't lost on United fans who immediately took to Twitter to point out Henderson's desirable talent, with some suggesting Henderson should be given a chance in the team following a brilliant performance in which he made a number of fine saves.
