Manchester United's Brandon Williams has officially joined newly-promoted Premier League club Norwich on loan.
Williams, 20, has been regularly linked with a temporary move away from United and was supposed to join Southampton on loan in January before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intervened and blocked the move with fears lingering over his side's squad depth.
Although Southampton were still interested and Newcastle were also keen on Williams, Norwich have won the race for his signature and it was announced on Monday that he's signed a season-long loan at Carrow Road.
Williams has made 50 senior appearances for United but has struggled for consistent first-team minutes over the last few years.

"It feels very different. It’s the first time I’ve ever played for a different club before but I’m just really excited to get started, meet everybody and get my season going," Williams told Norwich's in-house media.
“It’s a massive club and I like the way they play. I’ve watched them over the years and seen how they play.
The club like to play out from the back and play football. That really inspired me to come here, and I think that the head coach can really improve me as a player. Everyone has been so welcoming. I’ve really enjoyed my time here already."
"I can’t wait to meet everybody. I’ve just got a feeling it’ll be a good year.”
