Manchester United 'prepared to meet Dortmund's demands' for Jadon Sancho and more transfer rumours

Manchester United won't be put off by Borussia Dortmund's massive asking price for electric winger Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

United are still on the hunt for attacking reinforcements after struggling to score goals this season and Sancho has been on the club's radar for a while after his breakout season last term.

Sancho departed Manchester in 2017 as he left neighbours Man City in the hunt for first-team football, and after finding it in Germany he took the world by storm.

The teenager has emerged as one of the best young players in the world with an incredible return of 18 goals and 30 assists in just 68 games for Dortmund.

The German giants bought Sancho for just £7million and are now likely to demand well more than 10 times that to let him go.

However, according to the Daily Mirror, 'United will not be put off by the huge fee in their pursuit.'

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been trying to rejuvinate a disjointed United squad by signing young, hungry, British talent and Sancho certainly fits the mould alongside the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.

However, it's claimed that Sancho 'will have at least a £100million price tag slapped on him by Dortmund' but United 'are prepared to meet Dortmund's demands.'

Meanwhile, Italian side Napoli expect United to complete a deal for Erling Haaland in the January transfer window, according to reports.

Corriere dello Sport suggest that while Napoli view the Norwegian as a ‘dream signing’, they concede that he is more likely to sign for United.

Finally, Barcelona have identified Marcus Rashford as a possible replacement for Luis Suarez next summer, according to reports.

According to Mundo Deportivo, both Rashford and Harry Kane are being targeted by the club for a possible switch.
