Manchester United 'prepare Aaron Wan-Bissaka medical' ahead of summer transfer

Manchester United are prepared for Aaron Wan-Bissaka to have his medical at the club next week ahead of a summer transfer, according to reports.

United are closing in on a deal to sign the Crystal Palace defender ahead of their pre-season tour of Australasia with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to make him his second summer signing.

The player is keen on a move to Old Trafford this summer and all that remains now is for terms to be agreed between the Premier League rivals for his services.

Wan-Bissaka's arrival could quickly gather pace and Football Insider suggest Wan-Bissaka could even have his medical at United next week following a 'breakthrough in talks'.

According to the report England U21s failure in the European Championships means the 21-year-old will fly home much earlier than expected and could therefore complete a transfer in the coming days.

In terms of other transfer gossip, United are rumoured to have offered a contract to Bruno Fernandes.

Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha claim the Sporting midfielder has received an offer to join United, while there is also interest from Tottenham for his signature.

The agent of Fernandes, Miguel Pinho, travelled to London last week where it is suggested he met with representatives from both United and Spurs.

According to the report both sides made an offer to sign the 24-year-old however it claims neither club made an offer which matched Sporting's valuation of the midfielder.
