Manchester United pre-season fixtures as International Champions Cup dates confirmed

Manchester United have added three more dates to their pre-season tour this summer – including a Far East clash with Premier League rivals Tottenham .

United kick off their summer tour with two games in Australia, against Perth Glory on July 13 and Leeds United on July 17, both to be played at Perth's Optus Stadium.

The Reds will then travel to Singapore, where they will take on Inter Milan at the National Stadium on July 20, before going to Shanghai where they will face Tottenham in the Hongkou Stadium on July 25.

United will return home and complete their warm-up for the new season by taking on AC Milan at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on August 3.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward said: “These games, and the tour overall, will not only assist in our pre-season preparations, but also provide entertaining football and an opportunity to interact with our loyal fans in Australasia and Asia.

“This is will be our third visit to Singapore and our fifteenth pre-season visit to China and we’re excited to be returning to both countries to play against top-class opposition there.”

United return to the Far East having embarked on a disastrous tour of Asia during Jose Mourinho's first summer at the club.

A derby clash in Beijing against Manchester city had to be called off due to poor conditions in the Chinese capital.

The Red Devils have subsequently toured the United States in each of the last two years.
