Kleberson has said the pressure is firmly on Manchester United's players following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking.
The Norwegian’s time in charge came to an end on Sunday, with United finally taking the decision to dispense of his services following a dismal run of results.
Michael Carrick has been placed in temporary charge of the side and won't have much time to dwell on his new role as he takes charge of his first game tonight, with United facing another crucial game in the Champions League at Villarreal.
All eyes will be on United’s players to see how they react following Solskjaer’s dismissal, with the team having been accused of not performing for their former manager, particularly over the last few weeks.
And, speaking to Paddy Power, Kleberson has warned his former side it won’t be easy for them to turn things around.
“The last few games have been tough for Manchester United,” Kleberson said.
“They are used to winning and being at the top, so when they lose a few games in succession it puts pressure on everyone at the club.
“Manchester United haven’t put in great performances in their last 10 games, but they’ve tried their best. Unfortunately, they just haven’t won them, and winning is vital. When you aren’t winning, doubts over the players are raised.
“It's very difficult for Manchester United, but it’s up to the players as a team to change that. It won’t be easy. It's going to be very hard for them, but this is a good challenge for a big club like United.”
Mauricio Pochettino is considered the frontrunner for the United job, with the former Tottenham boss ready to quit Paris Saint-Germain to take over at Old Trafford.
