Manchester United players want Jack Grealish to sign and more transfer rumours

Manchester United's players are lobbying for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sign Jack Grealish this summer.

That is according to The Telegraph who claim that United's players have shown their support towards any possible move for the Aston Villa playmaker in the transfer window, although the article reports it's actually Jadon Sancho that Solskjaer intends to sign.

The Athletic reported last week that Villa value Grealish at around £80m, while also suggesting that United scouts have been impressed by the 26-year-old's progress after closely following his development in the Premier League this season.

Regarding Sancho, the MEN understands United are refusing to rule out a move for the Borussia Dortmund youngster, with Old Trafford chiefs rekindling their interest in the winger after he scored 16 goals and provided 21 assists in the Bundesliga this term.

In more transfer news, The Sun claim West Ham are fearful of United blocking their move for Jesse Lingard this summer, believing that Sosljaer could have a dramatic change of heart and decide to keep the 28-year-old at the club.

The article reports sources have indicated that there has been no contact at all between the two sides to discuss a permanent deal, and this is despite the Irons and David Moyes making it clear to United that they would be willing buyers.

Lingard has been selected in Gareth Southgate's provisional European Championship squad after his excellent loan spell.
