Manchester United players to fly to Dubai for warm weather training

A number of Manchester United players are due to fly to Dubai for a warm weather training camp during the international break.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side beat Brighton 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday and some members of the squad were due to fly out to Dubai on Monday ahead of a three day training session, MEN Sport understands.

Solskjaer took his full squad to Dubai for a training camp back in January after knocking Reading out of the FA Cup and Luke Shaw and Nemanja Matic were there recently as they stepped up their recovery from injury.

United have had a difficult start to the season but sit seventh in the league now thanks to Sunday's win against Brighton where goals from Andreas Pereira, Marcus Rashford and a Davy Propper own goal gave them the three points and now some of the players will work on their fitness out in Dubai with United coaches while Solskjaer stays in Manchester with some of the other players.

Marcos Rojo pulled out of the Argentina squad on Sunday afternoon, having come on as a second-half substitute, for their games against Brazil and Uruguay. While Scott McTominay will have a scan on his ankle on Monday after he was taken off the pitch on a stretcher at the end of the game.

The midfielder is due to be on international duty with Scotland but could be forced to withdraw dependent on the severity of his injury.

Other players that won't be part of the group on the warm weather training camp due to international commitments are David de Gea, Harry Maguire, Daniel James, Victor Lindelof and Marcus Rashford.
