Manchester United players comment the same thing on Aaron Wan-Bissaka Instagram post after Man City victory

Aaron Wan-Bissaka's tackling ability is clearly not lost on his Manchester United teammates.

The United full back was named the club's Man of the Match for his superb defensive display in the 2-1 Manchester derby victory over Man City as he limited the impact of Raheem Sterling and company.

His performance prompted praise from pundits, as well as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Marcus Rashford who said: "The one-v-one battles, especially with the full-backs were unbelievable and Aaron especially was top notch."

And United teammates Scott McTominay and Axel Tuanzebe both commented the same thing on Wan-Bissak's post-match Instagram update. The 22-year-old posted a picture of a tackle on City midfielder Rodri with the caption "MANCHESTER IS RED".

McTominay replied with a series of 'shocked' emojies and the words "1v1 no thanks" while Tuanzebe dubbed Wan-Bissaka the "1v1 master". United youngster Angel Gomes said: "Not todayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy".

Others to comment on the post included Wan-Bissaka's former Crystal Palace teammate Connor Wickham, ex Eagles striker Clinton Morrison and Bristol City player Jay Da Silva.

It's clear that Wan-Bissaka's defensive traits in one versus one situations has the respect of both his United teammates and the wider footballing world.

He's proving to be a great acquisition for Solskjaer's side, having arrived from Selhurst Park in the £50million.
