Manchester United youngster Ethan Galbraith says Scott McTominay and Mason Greenwood are offering him advice as he breaks into the first team at Old Trafford.
The 18-year-old made his first-team debut back in November when he came off the bench to play the final few minutes of the Europa League group game against Astana.
He will be looking to follow in the footsteps of McTominay and Greenwood when football returns, having seen both make over 20 Premier League appearances this season.
“Scott is a similar age to me and will just help me out,” he said.
Galbraith also came up in the same youth team as Greenwood at Old Trafford.
“We’ve been playing together since the Under-16s, so we’re good mates,” he added about the striker.
As Well as making his United debut this season, the teenager has also made his international debut, playing the final two minutes of Northern Ireland’s friendly with Luxembourg back in September, but his choice between that debut and the one for his club is bound to go down well with United fans.
“Obviously I would choose my debut for United, it got me a few more followers on Insta,” he joked, when asked by David James Kerr on Instagram.
"I thought the experience of my debut would have been worse because of the crowd but as soon as you’re on the pitch you don’t really think about it,” he added.
But despite having made his first-team debut, Galbraith still has a preference on FIFA.
“I don’t play myself on FIFA,” he said. “Even next season if I broke into the first team, I still wouldn’t pick myself.”
