Manchester United player Odion Ighalo arrives for training wearing face mask amid coronavirus outbreak

Members of the Manchester United first-team squad have been pictured arriving for training on Friday morning after their Europa League win.

Odion Ighalo was among the United players pictured and he was wearing a protective face mask amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, while midfielder Scott McTominay was seen wearing an item of clothing over his face.

United's trip to face Tottenham this weekend has been cancelled, but the players still reported for training at the club's Carrington training complex on Friday morning.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side look set for a prolonged break from action with the Premier League and Uefa competitions set to suspended for the foreseeable future.

United’s Europa League second leg against LASK next Thursday had already been postponed as a precaution following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The infectious disease has hit football in recent weeks, with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi among those to test positive.  A number of Premier League clubs are also in self-isolation.
