Manchester United Northern Ireland tour tickets go on sale

Tickets for Manchester United’s Academy team’s visit to Northern Ireland in July to celebrate the Old Trafford club's first victory at the Milk Cup in 1991 go on sale today.

The 1991 team, which was captained by David Beckham and included the likes of Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Nicky Butt and Keith Gillespie, beat Hearts in the final 30 years ago.

And now three of Northern Ireland’s top youth sides will get the chance to face some of Manchester United’s brightest prospects next month.

Manchester United’s games in Northern Ireland in July are as follows:

  • Monday July 26 - v Coleraine at Seahaven, Portstewart (7pm)
  • Wednesday July 28 - v Ballymena United, Ballymena Showgrounds (7pm)
  • Friday July 30 - v Linfield FC at Dixon Park, Ballyclare (7pm)

Tickets, priced at £7 and including a souvenir Programme, can ONLY be purchased using the MyTicketApp.

Details on where you can download the app can be found at www.myticketapp.co.uk

The games, which are organised by Super Cup NI, are subject to current Covid-19 restrictions and therefore there is a limited number of tickets available for each game.

A spokesman said: “Early purchase is important to avoid disappointment.”
