Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba reveals his toughest opponent

Paul Pogba revealed the hardest opponent he has ever faced is Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.

The Manchester United midfielder plays alongside the Chelsea man for the France national team but admitted in an interview with The Times that he would rather be playing with him than against him.

When asked who the best player he had played with the 26-year-old struggled to think of an answer.

"That's a hard question," he replied. "Like top, top, top players. I'll give you, I'll give you two. Because I've done two clubs, so I'll give you two. Pirlo, a midfielder, and Paul Scholes, so two midfielders."

The World Cup winner has been continually linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer with Real Madrid and Juventus both thought to be keen in signing the midfielder.

But, the France international spoke about his good relationship with new United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

"People call him baby-faced but now he’s just a happy person," Pogba told The Times. "He smiles all the time and brings smiles to people. He’s really nice. I had the chance to be with him a few times in the reserves so I know him for a long time and I have a very good relationship with him.

“Once when I was at Juventus we saw each other. He’s a very nice guy and a very good person. He’s really nice with the players and very close with the players as well.”
