Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba educates fans about coronavirus

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is using his high-profile status to educate fans about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The United midfielder has already taken to social media to launch a campaign to ‘dab’ against coronavirus, while he also launched a birthday fundraising event targeted at raising money to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Pogba pledged to donate up to £27,000 worth of donations by doubling money raised as part of his 27th birthday celebrations last Sunday.

In his latest bid to do his part Pogba took to Instagram on Wednesday to run a question and answer session in order to raise awareness about the coronavirus.

The French international, who has almost 40 million followers on Instagram, used the story feature to post facts about the coronavirus with information provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Pogba’s post titled ‘coronavirus: myths vs facts quiz’ included advice about when to wear a face mask, medical advice about tackling the issue and answers regarding the spread of the issue.

The 27-year-old has also changed his biography on his largest social media platform to promote WHO with a link to their website along with the #COVID19 hashtag.
