Manchester United meet with Thomas Lemar's agent over transfer and more rumours

Manchester United have met with the agent of Thomas Lemar to discuss a possible summer move, according to reports in Spain.

Lemar, 24, moved to Atletico Madrid from Monaco two summers ago, but has only scored three times in 67 appearances. This season, he has not scored in 24 appearances.

However, the World Cup winner is still regularly linked with the biggest clubs in Europe, including United and Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Now, AS suggest United will look to rival Arsenal for the winger and have already met his agent to discuss the possibility of a move.

United are looking for a right-winger this summer, with Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho the top target.

Meanwhile, United have reportedly held talks over a possible summer move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

United were said to be interested in signing Rabiot last summer, but he made the free transfer to Juve instead. A year on, he is being linked with a transfer away from Turin already, despite impressing at times over the season.

Gazzetto dello Sport suggest representatives of United have met with the player’s mother, Veronique, though it is unclear who approached who to arrange the meeting.

Finally, United are planning to sell Marcos Rojo for £12m this summer, according to the Mirror.

Rojo is on loan at Estudiantes in Argentina, but only made one appearance before their season was suspended. The club have expressed their interest in keeping Rojo, but United's reported asking price might be too high.
