Rafa hopes to retain Rondon

The Venezuelan has been in fine form for the Magpies, but he is only on loan from West Bromwich Albion. Benitez is eager to see that deal made permanent, but he will hold off discussions until the summer according to the Chronicle .

Benitez also confirmed talks regarding his contract have begun with Lee Charnley. The Spaniard will be a free agent in the summer, and has interest from the Chinese Super League.

And finally, one man who knows what he wants is Marco Silva. The Everton boss has this week pushed for stability at the club, and as part of that plan he is eager to make Andre Gomes his first summer signing.
