Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stops to sign autographs after 'rock bottom' defeat to Liverpool

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spent 10 minutes after signing autographs for Manchester United fans after the team’s "rock bottom" 5-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

Solskjaer was powerless to stop United being heavily beaten on the pitch as Liverpool found themselves 4-0 up in the first half, courtesy of goals from Naby Keita, Diogo Jota and two Mohamed Salah strikes.

Salah completed his hat-trick five minutes after the break as United finished the game with 10-men when Paul Pogba was sent off 15 minutes after coming on as a substitute.

Despite fans booing the United players off the pitch at half-time and some choosing to leave during the interval and throughout the second half, those who stayed until the end were supportive of the Norwegian outside Old Trafford.

Associated Press journalist Rob Harris tweeted a video after the match of Solskjaer signing autographs and taking pictures for waiting fans.

Harris added that the manager was out there for 10 minutes and only heard nothing negative.

Solskjaer is under immense pressure to turn things around at United after three defeats and a draw in their last four Premier League games and said after the Liverpool loss that the club was at "rock bottom."
