Manchester United manager 'makes seven summer transfer demands' to Glazer family

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has handed the Glazer family a list of seven players he wants to sign for Manchester United, according to the latest reports.

The Evening Standard suggest Solskjaer has devised a list of top transfer targets for the summer window and given it to the club owners.

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is supposedly near the top of the list, while Daniel James is listed and looks set to move to Old Trafford in the coming weeks.

Bruno Fernandes and Joao Felix are also reported to be on the list, however it is said United would only sign one of the Portuguese pair rather than both.

Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye is also supposedly being considered as a potential candidate to replace Ander Herrera in midfield, while Harry Maguire and Kalidou Koulibaly are listed as the two centre-back priorities this summer.

The article also makes a point of emphasising Gareth Bale is not on the seven man shortlist amid growing uncertainty over his future at Real Madrid.

In terms of other transfer gossip, United are reportedly set to offer Sergio Romero a starting place in the event of David de Gea leaving the club.

The Mail suggest United will promote the Argentine goalkeeper to be the first-choice option at Old Trafford if they decide to let De Gea in the coming weeks.

It is also reported Dean Henderson will be allowed to rejoin Sheffield United next season on-loan with the view of eventually making the progression into United's own starting line up.
