Manchester United 'make move over Youri Tielemans'

Manchester United have again been in touch over the potential transfer of Belgium international Youri Tielemans, according to reports.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at Leicester and the midlands club are reportedly hopeful of agreeing a permanent deal for the Monaco man.

However, they're going to face competition from United as, according to HLN , Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to take the 22-year-old to Old Trafford.

The Norwegian is looking for young talent to rebuild his squad this summer and has already acquired Swansea winger Daniel James as the first signing of the summer and the understanding is that Tielemans would fit in with his transfer philosophy perfectly.

The report claims Tielemans is not interested in returning to Monaco and the club would be willing to sell should their valuation of around £40million be met. The Belgium international was keen to return to Leicester, according to the report, but is now considering his options amid interest from United.

In other transfer news Romelu Lukaku is still being linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

MEN Sport understands the Belgium striker is open to a move to Italy with Inter Milan keen to sign him during the window but they would be looking to recoup the huge sum they paid for Everton for the striker two years ago.

The Daily Mail reports Lukaku does not know where he will be returning for pre-season training in two weeks as his future remains up in the air.

Ed Woodward wants to recoup at least £80million, the report claims, but have yet to have a suitable bid from the Italian giants so the striker has no clear idea where he will be playing his football next season.
