Manchester United make change to Old Trafford ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo debut

Manchester United have added Cristiano Ronaldo to their Megastore mural ahead of his potential second debut for the club this weekend.

Ronaldo, 36, could mark his return to United when they host Newcastle in the Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon after completing his sensational transfer last week.

The striker has agreed an initial two-year deal at Old Trafford, with the option of a third, after United agreed a €23million package with Juventus for his transfer.

In anticipation of his eagerly-awaited second debut United have updated the mural above the club Megastore by squeezing in a new image of Ronaldo alongside compatriot Bruno Fernandes.

In order to make room for their star signing on the mural United have reduced the size of Fernandes' picture and shifted him to the left in favour of a larger Ronaldo print.

The adjustment comes a day after the Portuguese forward made his first appearance at the club's Carrington training complex where he also met with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Ronaldo met his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday morning and took part in his first training session as he looks to secure a place in the starting line up against Newcastle this weekend.
