Manchester United loanee Aidan Barlow scores another wonder goal for Tromso

Manchester United loanee Aidan Barlow came off the bench to score a fantastic goal during Tromsø Idrettslag's 3-2 defeat to Sarpsborg 08 at the weekend.

Barlow was a regular in both United's U23 and U18 side meaning eyebrows were raised when his temporary departure to Norway was announced in the summer.

He made a bright start to life in the Eliteserien, scoring on his third appearance for the club, before slipping down the pecking order under manager Simo Valakari.

After failing to make a single appearance in October, Barlow showcased his talent with a superbly taken goal after being introduced in the 80th minute at the weekend.

The 19-year-old reacted to his strike on Twitter, writing: "Shame about the result but happy with another golazooo! #stanch"

Barlow is due to return to United in December and the youngster has admitted he hopes to break into the first-team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He told MEN Sport back in September: "I always watch the games. When the youth team plays on MUTV I am also watching that as well. So I am always keeping up.

"I've just got to keep my head down here, do what I have to do here and then hopefully that happens.

"There are opportunities there (at United) in the first-team. I think, you know, to grasp one I can, and hopefully I will do that."
