Manchester United line up vs Sheffield United includes Axel Tuanzebe and David de Gea

Manchester United have included David de Gea, Axel Tuanzebe and Anthony Martial in their side to face Sheffield United tonight (8.15pm UK time kick off).

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made six changes to the side that started the game against Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday, with Bruno Fernandes, Nemanja Matic and Alex Telles also coming in to the team.

Eric Bailly misses out completely, as Tuanzebe plays at centre-back alongside Harry Maguire. Victor Lindelof is on the bench, alongside Luke Shaw and Dean Henderson, who all started against Liverpool.

A win for United at Old Trafford would lift them back into top spot in the Premier League, after Manchester City's thumping win at West Brom put Pep Guardiola's men top.

Before the game, Solskjaer urged his players to be vigilant against Sheffield United, despite the fact the Blades have only won one league game all season.

When asked what to expect from Wilder's side, Solskjaer told United's in-house media: “Nothing other than what you always get against them. You get a hard game and you’ve got a team that is fighting for the manager.

"They’ve had a tough season this season, but you can still see that they’ve improved lately and they stay true to their principles and the manager’s principles. The tight game we had at Bramall Lane isn’t something we don’t expect now; it’ll be a similar type of game.

“That’s what you expect in every Premier League game, especially when you see the players they’ve got. Some of them have got the real x-factor and you know you need to be on your toes concentrating for the full 90 minutes."

United XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire, Telles; Matic, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.

Subs: Henderson, Lindelof, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Mata, James, Van de Beek, Cavani.
