Manchester United line up vs Perth Glory includes Daniel James and Axel Tuanzebe

Daniel James has been handed a Manchester United debut against Perth Glory.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named the 21-year-old in his line-up for the game in Australia at the start of their pre-season tour.

Fellow new signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts on the bench, while youngsters Axel Tuanzebe and Tahith Chong get run outs.

Ashley Young captains the side, while there is also the chance for a number of fringe players to impress the manager.

Romelu Lukaku does not make the bench but did have a minor knock earlier in the week and has been rested. Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Lee Grant are also not involved.

Matteo Darmian and Fred are yet to link-up with the squad due to personal reasons so are not included.

United play Perth Glory at the Optus Stadium in the city and it is the first of six pre-season games this summer.

United team: Romero, Dalot, Tuanzebe, Jones, Young, Pereira, Matic, Chong, Lingard, James, Martial

Subs: De Gea, Pereira, Rojo, Shaw, Smalling, Wan-Bissaka, Garner, Gomes, Mata, McTominay, Pogba, Greenwood, Rashford
