Manchester United line up vs Newcastle includes Harry Maguire but Paul Pogba dropped

Manchester United have confirmed their line up for the Premier League game against Newcastle at St. James' Park.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made five changes from the United side which was thrashed by Tottenham two weeks ago with David de Gea keeping his place in goal.

Club captain Harry Maguire retains his place in the centre of defence where he is joined by Victor Lindelof. Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts on the right with Luke Shaw preferred to summer signing Alex Telles at left-back.

Fred and Scott McTominay come into the midfield where they are joined by Bruno Fernandes with Paul Pogba dropping to the bench.

Juan Mata comes into the side up front in the absence of Anthony Martial, with Marcus Rashford and Daniel James also selected by Solskjaer.

United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Mata, Fernandes, James, Rashford.

Subs: Henderson, Bailly, Telles, Matic, Pogba, Van de Beek, Ighalo.
