Manchester United line up vs Man City includes Paul Pogba and David de Gea

Manchester United have confirmed their starting XI for this afternoon's derby meeting with Manchester City.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made two changes from the side which lost to RB Leipzig in midweek as the United manager reverts to a team he can truly trust for the crucial league encounter.

David de Gea starts in goal despite his poor showing in Germany on Tuesday night with Dean Henderson forced to make do with a place on the bench again.

Club captain Harry Maguire starts in the heart of defence and is joined by Victor Lindelof. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw have been selected in the full-back positions.

United look to have elected to go with a midfield diamond which sees Paul Pogba, Fred and Scott McTominay start, with Bruno Fernandes occupying the advanced role.

Marcus Rashford leads the line where is joined by Mason Greenwood.

United XI:  De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Fred, Pogba, McTominay, Fernandes, Rashford, Greenwood.

Subs : Henderson, Bailly, Mata, Martial, Telles, Matic, Van de Beek.
