Manchester United line up vs Liverpool includes Fred and De Gea with Martial on bench

Manchester United have named their starting XI for the Premier League fixture against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made two changes to his team from the side which lost at Newcastle prior to the international break with Paul Pogba once again missing through injury.

David de Gea overcame a late fitness scare to start the game, while Harry Maguire was due to be partnered in defence by Victor Lindelof and Axel Tuanzebe.

But Tuanzebe pulled out of the warm-up and was replaced by Marcos Rojo in the team, with Phil Jones making the bench.

Scott McTominay starts in midfield along with Fred and Andreas Pereira, with Daniel James on the wing. Anthony Martial is back in the squad but is only fit enough to start the match on the bench.

Mason Greenwood has overcome a recent injury to earn a place on the bench along with fellow youngsters Brandon Williams and James Garner.

United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Young, Maguire, Lindelof, Rojo, McTominay, Fred, Pereira, James, Rashford.

Subs: Romero, Jones, Williams, Garner, Mata, Greenwood, Martial.
