Manchester United line up vs Leicester includes Bruno Fernandes and Brandon Williams

Manchester United have included Brandon Williams in their side to face Leicester on the final day of the Premier League season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made just one change from the 11 that drew with West Ham in midweek, as Aaron Wan-Bissaka returns at right back in place of Timothy Fosu-Mensah. Williams keeps his place at left-back, with Luke Shaw still ruled out with an ankle injury.

Otherwise Solskjaer has fielded the same team that started recent wins over Sheffield United, Bournemouth and Aston Villa, with Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes in midfield. Eric Bailly makes the bench after recovering from a head injury.

United need a single point to qualify for the Champions League, while all three points will guarantee a third-place finish. Defeat will result in United finishing fifth unless Chelsea are beaten at home by Wolves in their season finale.

Leicester have Caglar Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell, Ricardo Pereira, James Maddison, Daniel Amartey and Christian Fuchs all unavailable either through injury or suspension.

Before the game, Solskjaer hinted that he would encourage an attacking mindset from his players, despite only needing a single point.

He said: “We have to go into the game with a positive mindset, going there to attack, going there to win the ball, going there on the front foot, defend on the front foot.

“We know Leicester are a good side and they’re going to pin us back at times and we’re going to have to defend our box as well, so stop crosses, if the crosses come into the box get first to it. All the basics in football.

“And you know you have to work really, really hard. You have to go there with a frame of mind that, ‘when I’m off the pitch today, I’ve given everything I have for the shirt’ - and hopefully that will be enough for a result.

“You can never control the result in a game of football, you can only control your effort in the performance.”

United XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams; Matic, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.

Subs: Romero, Bailly, Fosu-Mensah, Mata, Fred, McTominay, James, Ighalo, Lingard.
