Manchester United line up vs Aston Villa includes Paul Pogba and Fred

Manchester United have confirmed their starting line-up for tonight's Premier League game against Aston Villa.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made four changes from the United team which beat Wolves earlier in the week, with striker Edinson Cavani missing through suspension.

The Uruguayan forward has been banned for three matches by the Football Association and fined £100,000 over an 'aggravated breach' of their rules over an Instagram post from November.

David de Gea has been selected in goal for the first match of 2021 while club captain Harry Maguire is partnered by Eric Bailly in defence. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are chosen in the full-back positions.

There are changes in midfield as Scott McTominay and Fred come back into the XI while Bruno Fernandes plays in the attacking role with Paul Pogba also selected.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial start up front.

United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial

Subs: Henderson, Greenwood, Mata, James, Van de Beek, Tuanzebe, Telles, Matic, Lingard.
