Manchester United line up to face FC Copenhagen includes Pogba and Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba return for Manchester United in tonight's Europa League fixture against FC Copenhagen.

Both men were rested for the dead rubber against LASK last week but return to the starting XI as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks his first trophy in charge of United.

The duo are partnered in the engine room by Fred who is preferred to Nemanja Matic.

Solskjaer has also stuck with cup goalkeeper Sergio Romero who keeps his place ahead of first-choice stopper David de Gea.

Eric Bailly starts at centre-back alongside Harry Maguire with Victor Lindelof on the bench. The Swede is understood to be nursing a slight back injury.

United's strongest forward three of Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial also start.

Jesse Lingard is on the bench after impressing during the win against LASK as well as youngster Teden Mengi. However, fellow academy stars James Garner and Ethan Laird fail to make the cut.

United XI vs Copenhagen: Romero; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Williams; Fred, Pogba, Fernandes; Rashford, Greenwood, Martial.

Subs: De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Lindelof, Mengi, Pereira, James, Lingard, Mata, McTominay, Chong, Ighalo.
