Manchester United line up predicted vs Crystal Palace

Manchester United are looking to bounce back after dropping points against Wolves with a positive result against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men started impressively but struggled to breakdown the Midlands side's defence.

Anthony Martial netted his second goal in as many games to open the scoring, rifling home from an acute angle before Ruben Neves levelled proceedings with yet another wonder strike.

Paul Pogba had the chance to snatch three points from the penalty spot but Rui Patricio made an excellent save to deny him.

The Reds will be hoping to keep the pressure on their top four rivals with three points against Roy Hodgson's men.

David de Gea is nailed on to start in goal and the defence in front of him is unlikely to change either.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play at right-back against his former club with Victor Lindelof partnering Harry Maguire in the centre. Luke Shaw will play at left-back.

Despite his penalty miss, Paul Pogba can't be dropped from the starting XI - especially given how he performed against Chelsea on matchday one. Scott McTominay was guilty of a few sloppy passes during the Monday night encounter but the midfielder has covered more distance than any United player during both of their opening games. Losing his work rate could have a massive impact.

Daniel James was handed a start against Wolves after making a goalscoring debut. However, the Welshman struggled to impose himself and was booked for diving. As a result, Andreas Pereira could come back into the side alongside Jesse Lingard. United fans will be expecting more from the England international in the coming weeks given his recent barren spell in front of goal.

Up top, Marcus Rashford will almost definitely partner Martial.

Manchester United predicted starting XI vs Crystal Palace: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba, Pereira; Lingard, Rashford, Martial.
