Manchester United line up against Man City includes Mason Greenwood and Fred

Manchester United have named their starting XI for the derby fixture against Man City on Wednesday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made four changes from the side which defeated Tranmere at the weekend with David de Gea returning in goal for the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts the game at right back while Brandon Williams has been chosen on the left. Harry Maguire is partnered by Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw also appears to be in the centre of defence.

Fred and Nemanja Matic start the game in midfield along with Jesse Lingard. In the continued absence of Marcus Rashford, United have chosen a front two of Anthony Martial and teenager Mason Greenwood.

Youngsters Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong travelled with the provisional squad to the game but have not made the match-day 18.

United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Williams, Fred, Matic, Lingard, Greenwood, Martial.

Subs: Romero, Bailly, Dalot, Jones, Pereira, James, Mata.
