Manchester United line up against Chelsea includes Eric Bailly and Ander Herrera

Manchester United have named their starting line up for the Premier League fixture against Chelsea.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made five changes from the side which was defeated by Man City in midweek with Ander Herrera, Eric Bailly, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic returning.

Some supporters had called for David de Gea to be dropped in goal following his recent slump in form, however Solskjaer has shown his faith in the Spaniard by naming him in the starting XI.

Victor Lindelof is partnered by Bailly in defence, with Ashley Young on the right and Luke Shaw selected on the left.

Herrera returns in midfield where he is joined by Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba. Juan Mata also starts, on his birthday.

Up front Marcus Rashford starts along with Romelu Lukaku. Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Fred and Chris Smalling are not in the squad.

United XI: De Gea, Young, Shaw, Bailly, Lindelof, Matic, Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Rashford, Lukaku.

Subs: Romero, Darmian, Rojo, McTominay, Pereira, Martial, Sanchez.
