Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has delivered his glowing verdict on Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.
Saka has been the stand-out player for the Gunners this season, and perhaps last, racking up a total of 27 appearances across all competitions already, scoring five goals and assisting four more.
The 19-year-old made his breakthrough in north London last season and hasn't looked back since, even being selected in the top 10 best players under 20-years-old in the world by French sports newspaper L'Equipe.
And former Manchester United goalkeeper Schmeichel is just as excited about the young star, describing him as an 'interesting player'.
“It’s safe to say they (Arsenal) have massively underperformed this season, but he hasn’t. He’s 19 years of age, I can’t even remember off the top of my head how many times he’s been man of the match for Arsenal,” Schmeichel said on the Premier League's YouTube channel.
“It’s a lot to put on somebody so young’s shoulders, but this guy, I mean wow.
"He’s an interesting player, we’ve seen with all the great teams that you can think about, you have players like that who can dribble, who are quick.
"He can cross a ball, he can cross a ball with quality, he’s strong and he’s physically very strong.”
Saka has been voted Arsenal's player of the month for the last two months after helping Mikel Arteta put together a resurgence of sorts following a disappointing start to the campaign for the Gunners.
Arsenal have their young superstar in the making under contract until 2024 after rewarding him with a contract extension after his bright performances last season.
