Manchester United legend Patrice Evra makes shock Liverpool transfer revelation

Former Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra has revealed that Liverpool were interested in signing him prior to his move to Old Trafford.

Prior to his switch to the Premier League, he was a key member of the Monaco side that won the Coupe de la Ligue and was a part of the side who were beaten Champions League finalists in 2004. He made the move to the English top flight for a reported fee of £5.5m.

Speaking on the Vibe with Five podcast, the 41-year-old revealed how he turned down a move to Anfield for the Manchester-based outfit.
