Manchester United legend delivers one-word claim about Everton that fans will love

Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has insisted that Goodison Park is the biggest atmosphere he has ever played in.

The Danish goalkeeper played 16 times against Everton during his Premier League career, winning on 11 occasions.

However, two of those defeats came at Goodison Park, with the other in the 1994/95 FA Cup final which Everton won 1-0.

Those experiences against the club clearly left their mark on Schmeichel, who declared Goodison Park as one of the toughest places to visit.

During a Q&A on Twitter, Schmeichel was asked what the best atmosphere in a stadium was, excluding Old Trafford.

The ex-Manchester United 'stopper's answer was short and sweet: "Everton."

Schmeichel lifted five Premier League trophies during his spell at Manchester United.
