Manchester United issued fresh Jadon Sancho transfer warning by Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has reiterated that the Bundesliga club will not sell Jadon Sancho for any less than they value him.

Manchester United are one of a number of sides looking to sign the England international at the end of the season and have made him a priority transfer target.

Club sources have told the MEN United could end up making five major signings across this summer's window and the January 2020 window due to doubts over the futures of a number of players.

Sancho is viewed as the ideal fit for United amid their ongoing cultural reset, however they know it will likely take a club record fee to recruit him this summer. The 20-year-old is out of contract in 2022 and generating intense interest from United, Liverpool and Chelsea. Dortmund received an initial £96.8m for Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona in 2017 and Sancho would easily command a nine-figsouthure fee.

The MEN reported last year former City winger Sancho had expressed interest in returning to Manchester later in his career but United's stock has plummeted in recent years.

Sancho's future continues to dominate the transfer gossip and Watzke has reiterated Dortmund's stance ahead of the summer window.

"We said before coronavirus that our favourite idea is that Jadon will stay with us" he told German outlet Bild.

"I can clearly say that even the very rich clubs, despite the existential crisis, do not have to believe that they can go on a bargain tour with us. We don't have to sell anyone below value."
