One of Borussia Dortmund's hottest prospects has fuelled transfer speculation by declaring Manchester United as his 'dream club.'
The player isn't Jadon Sancho, however, who has continuously been linked with a transfer to Old Trafford after bursting on the scene in the Bundesliga this season - with nine goals and 17 assists - and has become an England regular.
The player instead is 23-year-old centre-back Manuel Akanji.
The Swiss international has been a key player at the back for Dortmund since his £19m move in January 2018 and has helped Dortmund to their first title challenge in years this season.
He's made 23 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring once, but has been hampered with a persistent hip problem.
Regardless of his injury woes, he's yet another gifted young player at Dortmund and according to German publication SportBild, Via Sportwitness, he is a fan of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team.

Bild say that Akanji 'makes no secret' that his 'dream club' is United.
This comes the back off Akanji's previous comments in October 2018, when he said: “Many know that Manchester United has been my favourite club since childhood. It would be nice to play there, but that’s not an issue right now.”
There has yet to be any speculation linking United with a move for Akanji but it's no secret that the club is in pursuit of a centre-back and have constantly been linked with Inter's Milan Skriniar, Ajax's Matthijs de Ligt, Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly, Leicester City's Harry Maguire and Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld.
