Manchester United 'identify' two David de Gea transfer replacements

Manchester United have identified two replacements for David de Gea, according to reports.

The Spain international continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the summer transfer window as he enters the final year of his contract at the club.

United are keen to keep the 28-year-old, but have lined up two replacements should he leave if the latest transfer gossip is to be believed.

Tuttomercatoweb  suggest United view Gianluigi Donnarumma as an ideal candidate to replace De Gea should he leave and could look to make a move this summer.

AC Milan's failure to qualify for the Champions League could lead the Italian side into selling their star players, with the report suggesting Donnarumma is one such player potentially in line to leave.

However, it is reported that Arsenal are also keen on a deal for the Italy international as they look to replace the retiring Petr Cech.

Reports elsewhere suggest Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana is currently on the radar of United as another candidate to replace De Gea should he leave.

Journalist Duncan Castles claims United have even had a 'recent bid' rejected by the Dutch club for the goalkeeper, who they are believed to value at €40m.

He also claims that Ajax have themselves identified Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan as a replacement for Onana as they concede that he might leave the club in the coming months.
