Manchester United hoping 'Drake curse' strikes again for Barcelona Champions League tie

An official Manchester United Twitter account has trolled Barcelona ahead of their Champions League second leg tie on Tuesday night.

United head into the tie at the Camp Nou looking to turn around a 1-0 defeat from the first leg.

And it seems that they are trying to use 'the curse of Drake' to help them into the semi-finals.

The Canadian rapper has become the bad luck charm for a number of sporting clubs and personalities over the last year.

Both Man City and PSG suffered defeats in the last week after players from the two sides met Drake before their respective losses.

Earlier this week Italian side Roma joked they were 'banning' their first-team players from meeting the star due to his 'curse'.

The United Spanish Twitter account has now posted a picture of Drake wearing a Barcelona shirt, followed by a fingers crossed emoji.

His reputation as a jinx started in 2013 when he represented his favourite NBA team - the Toronto Raptors.

Things have not gone well for the basketball outfit since while the likes of Conor McGregor and Serena Williams have also been victims to the 'Drake curse'

United fans will be hoping that Barca are the next to join the list...
