Manchester United great Paul Scholes gives Paul Pogba two options over Mino Raiola

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes Paul Pogba has two options with his agent Mino Raiola: to tell him to shut up, or to sack him.

The build-up to United's Champions League group-phase decider against RB Leipzig was dominated by Raiola's comments after he told Italian outlet Tuttosport that Pogba's United career was 'over'.

Speaking prior to the game in the BT Sport studio, Scholes said Pogba needs to take action.

"Paul pays this man to represent him," Scholes said. "He represents him badly because Paul is a good lad. Everyone looking from the outside, because it’s his agent, they’ll think he’s a bad lad, disrupting the dressing room, he isn’t. Paul has two options: tell him to shut up, or he sacks him.”

Pogba started for Solskjaer's side in Saturday's 3-1 win over West Ham and scored a wonderful goal that levelled the match before the visitors kicked on at the London Stadium.

However, the Frenchman was dropped to the bench against Leipzig, with Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay starting at the base of midfield.

Explaining his decision to leave Pogba out in Germany, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "My decision tonight is obviously tactical. That's the only thing. We made a team decision a way bit before this game, because we decided on Scott and Nemanja in that midfield before we played West Ham."
