Manchester United 'given Philippe Coutinho asking price'

If Manchester United want to sign Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho, they will have to pay €100m.

That is according to AS, who claim the former Liverpool man is one of ten players who could leave the Nou Camp this summer after their Champions League capitulation at Anfield this week.

United were linked with Coutinho during the January transfer window, although there is nothing to suggest there was any genuine interest.

But the report says Barcelona would accept €100m (£86m) for the Brazilian, who is the strongest candidate to leave over the summer.

Ivan Rakitic - another player connected with a move to United in the past - is listed by AS, but the report admits his situation is less clear as he is one of manager Ernesto Valverde's most used players.

Meanwhile, former football journalist Ian McGarry has told The Transfer Window Podcast  that United have agreed a fee in principle with Juventus for Paulo Dybala.

“There have been some reports In Italy that Manchester United have declared an interest in Dybala,” McGarry said.

“However, our sources are telling us and the information we have is that in fact United have agreed in principle to pay the 100m euros (£86m) buyout clause that it would take to get Dybala out of Juventus.”

In other reports, three United players are linked with exits from Old Trafford this summer.

The Spaniard has been linked with the French giants for some time, and has reportedly agreed a three year deal at the Parc des Princes on a free transfer. It comes after the MEN reported he was close to moving to Paris.

The Evening Standard say Romelu Lukaku could also be leaving, as he is set for talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over his United future.

It is claimed by  Gazzetta that Inter are set for a revamp this summer, with Mauro Icardi expected to leave the club.
