Manchester United give team news ahead of Burnley fixture

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Eric Bailly and Diogo Dalot are both ready to face Burnley in the Premier League fixture on Wednesday night.

United are looking to bounce back from defeat to Liverpool when they welcome Sean Dyche's side to Old Trafford in midweek and Solskjaer is keen to look at the positive injury news.

Ivorian defender Bailly is yet to feature for United since returning to reserves action earlier this year, while Dalot made a late cameo appearance at Anfield on Sunday.

Marcus Rashford remains a long-term absence following his double stress fracture in his back suffered against Wolves last week. Solskjaer said there are no fresh injury concerns to worry about, however Victor Lindelof was sent home from training on Tuesday morning as a 'precaution'.

“I don’t think there were any other knocks in that game so we should have the same players to be available against Burnley,” Solskjaer told MUTV.

“Of course, we are stretched and some of the players have played a lot. And they’re improving for it and will reap the benefit and get stronger physically and mentally more robust.

"Of course it’s great having Eric (Bailly), Diogo (Dalot), and Luke (Shaw) back in so we have got more choices.

"It’s a blow Marcus (Rashford) being out abut that’s football. It’s part and parcel of it. He’s been fantastic all season for us and now, unfortunately, we have to do it without him.”
