Manchester United get injury boost on six players for Paris Saint-Germain fixture

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claims Manchester United have a fully fit squad to choose from for the Champions League visit of Paris Saint-Germain.

David de Gea came off injured at Southampton on Sunday but the MEN reported the Spaniard trained after receiving treatment at United's Carrington training complex on Monday.

Alex Telles has recovered from a minor injury he sustained at St Mary's and Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay have returned to training, as has Anthony Martial after he felt ill at Southampton. Luke Shaw has also ostensibly resumed training after recovering from a hamstring strain.

"You expect when the Champions League nights come and floodlights are out and fans are not there but the players all wanna be there," Solskjaer said. "The training group today was a massive one, it was a big group and everyone has held their hand up and is available for selection. David trained well today, so he's available for selection.

"Anthony got through the session and felt okay, so he's also available for selection. Luke is probably the biggest doubt but the rest of them are holding their hands up saying: 'I'm ready'. Luke isn't too far away so let's see what we do with him for tomorrow."

Phil Jones is sidelined until after Christmas but was excluded from United's Champions League squad and Sergio Romero is unavailable as he was also omitted.

United can qualify for the round-of-16 with a point against PSG at Old Trafford and will win Group H if they beat the Ligue 1 champions and RB Leipzig fail to defeat Istanbul Basaksehir.

"The quicker you can qualify the better," Solskjaer opined. "With a win we'll win the group, that's our intent. We wanna go out there with our style: attacking intent and defending well against a top team with some top individual players.

"But our mindset is win this game and we've won the group."
