Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood can equal Premier League scoring record vs Leeds

Manchester United will be looking to make headlines for all the right reasons when they travel to face old rivals Leeds United this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw his side triumph 6-2 the last time they met Leeds back in December, but he knows it will be a much tougher battle this time around.

Leeds began the week with an impressive 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Elland Road and will be eager to take more points off one of their historic top-flight rivals.

In order to secure the three points United will need to be as clinical as they were in the last meeting and in teenage forward Mason Greenwood they have the perfect option.

So far in his career Greenwood has scored 15 Premier League goals for United, with no player scoring more as a teenager for them in the history of the competition.

The 19-year-old scored twice against Burnley a week ago, continuing his scoring form from previous league matches against Tottenham and Brighton - a run which puts him on the brink of Premier League history.

That's because if Bradford-born Greenwood scores against Leeds this weekend he would would become the first teenager to score in four consecutive Premier League appearances since Francis Jeffers in September 2000.

Greenwood isn't the only one chasing a record either.

United are unbeaten in their last 23 Premier League away games (W15 D8), with only Arsenal between April 2003 and September 2004 (27) having a longer such run in English top-flight history.
