Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has sent former teammate Daley Blind a message following his Ajax return.
The Dutch defender will return to the Ajax first-team squad on Sunday afternoon just two months after being diagnosed with a heart condition.
Blind was diagnosed with "heart muscle inflammation" after suffering from dizziness during their Champions League game against Valencia on 10 December.
Following the scare Blind was fitted with a subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator, which sends electrical pulses to regulate abnormal heart rhythms.
Ajax confirmed on Friday that Blind had returned to full training last week after a "number of successful medical tests" and is now in contention to feature against FC Utrecht on Sunday.
In celebration of the good news Ajax posted a video montage of the defender onto their social media channels along with the caption: "We've missed you, Daley Blind."
Blind then quoted the post himself before Rashford replied to it with a love heart emoji.
Speaking last week Ajax manager Erik ten Hag provided an update on the former United defender's return from his lay-off.
"He’s being monitored constantly, and he’s undergone many examinations,” Ten Hag said.
“They’ve been so good that this week, he got a green light.
“As of now, he can do everything, and he’s back in the group. He could potentially return to playing very soon, but it’s hard to say exactly when.”
