Manchester United FIFA 19 update revealed - featuring BIZARRE changes to David De Gea and Ander Herrera

At the beginning of March, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's stock was soaring.

Manchester United had won 15 of their last 17 games and had just beaten Paris Saint-Germain in Parc de Princes, thanks to an incredible last-minute Marcus Rashford winner.

Now though, at the start of April, United have lost three of their last four games, including two defeats to Wolves and an away defeat to Arsenal, in what has been a difficult run for the Norwegian.

EA Sports have now revealed the latest ratings update for FIFA 19 - and a few United players have been downgraded, with a few also given bizarre changes.

Here are the latest changes to the Manchester United squad on FIFA as of April 4 2019.

David De Gea - Downgrade (kind of)

There's no doubt De Gea is a phenomenal goalkeeper, one of the best on the planet, but he's not enjoyed the best record recently.

He's conceded eight goals in his last six appearances for United and hasn't managed a clean sheet since the end of February.

However, EA Sports have made a bizarre change to his profile on FIFA 19 in the latest update.

The Spaniard's weight has been increased from 168lbs to 181lbs.

That's an increase of 13 pounds - nearly a stone - which is as harsh as it is bizarre.

Ander Herrera - Downgrade (kind of)

Herrera has been in great form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, so much so that he's been linked with a summer move to PSG recently.

Despite his strong form, he's been given a strange downgrade on FIFA 19.

Like De Gea, his weight has also been increased from 154lbs to 161lbs, an increase of seven pounds.

Matic has not been in great form recently and EA Sports have decided that he is a player in decline.

The Serbian's composure (83-82), interceptions (84-82) and stamina (83-80) have all been downgraded.

That has also meant a decrease in his overall ability (84-83) and potential (84-83).

Phil Jones - Downgrade

United have looked shaky at the back in recent weeks, with Jones singled out for criticism in the recent league defeat to Wolves.

He's been given a big downgrade on FIFA 19.

His balance (59-55), dribbling (59-58), long shots (59-54) and penalties (55-50) has all been downgraded.

Chris Smalling - Upgrade

Smalling has also been criticised for his performances in recent weeks, but he's actually been upgraded on FIFA 19.

The English defender's acceleration (61-63) and balance (45-48) have been given a slight boost.

Scott McTominay - Upgrade

McTominay played a vital part in that win against PSG and he's continued to develop ever since.

The Scot's aggression (72-74), positioning (61-63) and shot power (71-74) have been upgraded.

Mason Greenwood - Upgrade

Greenwood remains one of United's most promising youngsters - and he's also been given a slight boost on FIFA 19.

The striker's composure (65-68), dribbling (64-66) and strength (62-64) have been boosted.
