Manchester United fans 'would love' Harry Maguire signing as transfer rumour resurfaces

Manchester United have again been linked with a move for Leicester City's Harry Maguire, a year after failing to land him under Jose Mourinho.

If reports in the Evening Standard are to be believed, the Reds want to make a fresh summer bid for the England defender, who impressed in the Foxes' 1-0 defeat to Man City on Monday night.

United fans, who were largely split on whether Maguire would be a good signing when the club were heavily linked 12 months ago, appear to have changed their tune on the 26-year-old.

There were plenty of supporters on social media arguing that he'd prove a good addition to the Reds' backline.

Maguire will reportedly cost a hefty fee, potentially bigger than the £75million Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk in January 2018, but it seems many United fans believe he'd be well worth it...

Most of them want Maguire to sign

There were still a few doubting if he'd be good enough

It appears very likely that United will sign a new centre-back in the summer to partner Victor Lindelof. The Swede has been their most consistent defender this season and with Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo both linked with moves away from Old Trafford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to strengthen his back line.
