Andy Cole reveals what Marcus Rashford is telling 'everyone' about his Manchester United future

Manchester United hero Andy Cole says Marcus Rashford wants to stay at the club for the "long haul".

The 21-year-old striker, who has come on leaps and bounds under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly become a target for La Liga giants Barcelona.

But speaking on Monday Night Football, 1999 treble winner Cole informed Manchester United fans there is little to worry about.

“He is telling everyone he wants to stay,” Cole told Sky Sports. “Not just for the short term but for the long haul. He is going to be one of the big players in the club’s future.”

Cole also added that Rashford now has an important ingredient which was missing during the negative end to Mourinho’s tenure.

“What I like about Rashford, he’s got all the talent. You could tell his confidence under the previous manager was very low but now it’s there,” Cole added.

"Ole has gone in there and said to him ‘we all know how good you are, just believe in yourself’, and he’s done that.

"When Rashford first came into the team we all knew what he could do. He kind of went away from that a little but know he’s back doing what he’s good at."
