Manchester United fans think they've spotted Borussia Dortmund hint about Jadon Sancho's future

Eagle-eyed Manchester United fans believe they have spotted something that has cast doubt over Jadon Sancho's future at Borussia Dortmund.

United were left disappointed this morning when Dortmund announced the signing of Birmingham City's Jude Bellingham - a player that the Reds had been very keen on.

Dortmund announced the signing with a video of numerous members of their squad singing along to Hey Jude by the Beatles.

Yet could Dortmund have potentially handed United a boost over their hopes of signing Jadon Sancho this summer?

Plenty of United fans noted that Sancho was nowhere to be seen in the announcement video.

Whilst Sancho's absence from the video by no means confirms that he is heading to the exit doors at Dortmund, it is rather conspicuous.

Clubs often use their star players for videos like this that welcome major signings to the club and, over the last two years, Sancho has become one of Dortmund's highest-profile players.

There is also the fact that Sancho would have been welcoming a fellow English youngster to the club.

Whether Sancho's absence from the video means Dortmund have doubts over keeping the United target remains to be seen.

Yet it has certainly set some United fans' tongues wagging.

Over the weekend, Sancho was asked about his future and did not entirely dismiss the prospect of a move.

He said to World Soccer Magazine: "I don't know what to say to that," he said.

"It's hard to say. That's the future.

"You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see."
